Hunter Brown

Tabbed to make his big-league debut on Monday afternoon against the in-state-rival Texas Rangers, Houston Astros right-hander Hunter Brown was certainly up to the challenge. The 24-year-old, who is the Club's number one prospect, twirled six scoreless innings and struck out five hitters to notch the victory. Brown had posted outstanding numbers in the Minors prior to his call-up, going 9-4 with a 2.55 ERA and 134 strikeouts in just 106 innings.
