Yesterday afternoon, the Washington Nationals took on the St. Louis Cardinals and it was Washington outfielder Alex Call who played the hero. Call went 4-for-5 at the plate, notching five RBI in the process. The highlight of the 27-year-old, Burnsville, Minnesota native's performance was his ninth-inning, three-run blast belted off Cardinals reliever James Naile. Incredibly, though his last seven MLB contests, Call has posted a .438 batting average.
