After hitting a two-run home run in the ninth inning of yesterday afternoon's contest between his St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates, Albert Pujols has moved into sole possession of fourth on the all-time home runs list. This was the 697th home run of Pujols' illustrious career and was sent straight over the center-field wall after connecting with a pitch from Pirates reliever Chase De Jong. Furthermore, Pujols' home run was also crucial to his Club, helping them best the Pirates, 4-3.
