Remarkably, Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen has set a new consecutive scoreless-innings record for his Club after a standout performance in yesterday afternoon’s bout with the Colorado Rockies. The streak, which ended at 44 and 1/3 innings after Gallen allowed an RBI single, is not only the longest in Diamondbacks history, but is also the seventh-longest in Major League Baseball history. Furthermore, his standout performance on the mound also helped lead his Club to their 12-6 victory.
