Major League Baseball history was made in yesterday afternoon's contest between the New York Yankees and the Milwaukee Brewers, and it was Aaron Judge who was responsible. After hitting the 58th home run of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign, Judge tied a long-standing American League record for home runs hit by a right-handed batter in a single season. After hitting his 59th just a few innings later, he broke that record. Additionally, and remarkably, Judge is now just two home runs shy of Roger Maris' single-season American League home run record.
