Angels third baseman Taylor Ward fueled the entirety of his team’s offense in their 3-0 victory over the Cleveland Guardians, with the first multi-home -run showing of his career. His first homer was smashed in the fifth inning, giving his Angels the lead, 1-0. His second was belted in the seventh - a two-run shot off Guardians starter Shane Bieber - as Ward became just the third player ever to touch the former AL Cy Young Award winner for multiple longballs in one game.
