Albert Pujols has had one of the most prolific Major League Baseball careers of all time, and his 300th-career home run was just one of the many milestones the still-active veteran has under his belt. In the eighth inning of a meeting between his St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs, Pujols connected for a solo home run that, unfortunately, wasn’t enough to give his Cardinals the victory. However, despite losing, this milestone home run still gave the home fans a reason to celebrate.
