The New York Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 12-8, thanks in no small part to first baseman Anthony Rizzo. Rizzo, who was traded to the Yankees from the Chicago Cubs last season, had the first three-home run game of his career. The Parkland, Florida native went long in the third, fifth, and eighth innings, driving in a combined six RBI in the process. Rizzo, without a doubt, has been a key acquisition for the Yankees, bringing a profusion of power to the Bronx.
