Nelson Cruz
Washington Nationals Ink Veteran Slugger
Nelson Cruz - 2022 MLB TOPPS NOW® ST-3 - PR: 338
Looking for a power-hitter to fill the role of designated hitter for the first time, the Washington Nationals signed Nelson Cruz on Sunday to a one-year deal. The 41-year-old slugger has been an ageless wonder, connecting for 32 longballs last season, splitting time between Minnesota and Tampa Bay. Cruz is one home run away from the 450-homer plateau.
