Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc claimed his first pole and podium of 2023 at the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2023. Leclerc looks to have got his season off-and-running with an excellent performance in Baku. He produced an impressive drive in Friday's qualifying to take pole for Sunday's race and then took pole for Saturday's F1® Sprint as well. A second-place finish in the Sprint was followed by a podium finish in the main race. Leclerc did an excellent job holding off Fernando Alonso in the late stages of the race. The podium is Scuderia Ferrari's first of 2023 and hopefully the first of many.
