It’s easy to forget that Texas Rangers young star Evan Carter began his MLB career in September with how he’s played in the Postseason. Bruce Bochy inserted the team’s top prospect in the number three spot ahead of their World Series Game 1 clash with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In doing so, Carter became the second-youngest player (21 years 59 days old) to hit third in a Game 1 lineup since Mickey Mantle (20 years and 347 days old). The Rangers outfielder collected two extra-base hits on the night, becoming the third-youngest with multiple such knocks in a World Series game behind Andruw Jones and Juan Soto.
