Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte’s hitting specialty wasn’t the only thing on display in his team’s first World Series game since 2001. Jumping to 3-2 advantage in the third inning, the 30-year-old wanted to keep applying pressure on the Texas Rangers. Taking advantage of his wheels, Marte took off for second base to swipe the first bag of the Fall Classic. It’s the first World Series swipe of his career, and it gave hungry fans a reason to cheer for the Dominican-born player.
