Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte continues to raise his own bar. After breaking the longest hit streak in Postseason history during Game 2 of the World Series, the 30-year-old met the third-longest Postseason on-base streak (19 games) with his walk in the opening frame. The Dominican-born player also collected a single to right field in the sixth inning, which extended his streak to 19 consecutive Postseason games. In doing so, he tied Alcides Escobar’s 2015 mark for the longest hit streak in a single Postseason at 15.
