Ketel Marte

After going 0-for-4 in his first four at-bats of Game 2 of the 2023 World Series, Ketel Marte kept his head up and connected for a two-run single in the eighth inning to smith the longest hitting streak in Postseason history at a jaw-dropping 18 games. The historical and impactful connection one-ups a shortlist of Major League Baseball supernovas Derek Jeter, Manny Ramírez, and Hank Bauer. What’s more, Marte’s hitting streak extends back to 2017, meaning he’s notched a hit in every Postseason game the 30-year-old, Dominican Republic native appeared in.
