Speed is not an issue for Team Japan’s pitching staff. In their game against Team Czech Republic, 21-year-old sensation Roki Sasaki took the mound and did not disappoint. The right-hander topped 100 miles per hour 21 times in just 66 pitches. In total, he struck out eight in three and two-thirds innings, leading Japan to a 10-2 win and a World Baseball Classic quarterfinal berth.
