The Texas Rangers ALDS Game 2 designated hitter had one mission, putting the game out of reach against the Baltimore Orioles. Coming to the plate with a 5-2 lead and the bases loaded in the third inning, Mitch Garver hammered a fastball to the left-field seats to tack on four more runs for the Rangers. The seven-year veteran is the third player to belt a grand slam in a Postseason debut for his team and the second Rangers player ever to record one in the Postseason, joining Nelson Cruz who last did it in 2011.
