Colorado Rockies outfielder Brenton Doyle had his best day at the plate in his brief big-league career on Sunday afternoon against the New York Mets. The 24-year-old cracked his first Major League home run in the top of the fifth inning, part of a seven-run frame. Doyle drove in three runs on the day as well - his first career multi-RBI showing - propelling Colorado to what was a 13-6 win.
