Outfielder Brenton Doyle is quietly having a productive 2024 campaign with the Colorado Rockies. The 26-year-old got enough wood on a 93-mph pitch to clear the center-field fence in the second inning. It’s Doyle’s 20th deep ball of the season, joining Hall-of-Famer Larry Walker (1997), Dante Bichette (1994 and 1996), Ellis Burks (1996), and Carlos González (2013) as the only Rockies players to reach the 20-plus homer and 20-plus stolen base club. “I like being in that company,” Doyle said.
