On Sunday, Jose Caballero made history against the Atlanta Braves. Starting in the third inning after being hit by a pitch, the second baseman gave the Braves fits while on base, stealing both second and third. In the sixth, Caballero reached base by being walked and once again stole a base, making it three on the day. In the ninth inning, the 26-year-old didn't need to steal another base, as he launched his first career homer. The rookie becomes the second Mariners player in franchise history to hit a home run and steal three bases in a game.
