Christopher Morel continues to fire on all cylinders at the start of the 2023 season. The 23-year-old has brought instant offense to the team since making his season debut 12 days ago and on Sunday, that continued against the Philadelphia Phillies. In the top of the ninth inning, Morel launched a ball 356 feet over the right-field fence. The home run was the slugger’s eighth of the season, making him the fourth player in MLB history to hit that many homers in their first 11 games of a season.
