Last night, at Truist Park, the Atlanta Braves clashed with the Philadelphia Phillies and 24-year-old right-handed starter Spencer Strider was called to action. Over the course of his six-inning stint on the mound, Strider whiffed nine batters and kept the Phillies to just two runs. Passing the 100-strikeout mark of his 2023 campaign in just 61 innings pitched, Strider made modern AL/NL history by becoming the fastest to reach a triple-digit strikeout tally. His solid start also helped his Club to take home the win, 11-4.
