Pete Alonso

Pete Alonso is in a class of his own among his fellow New York Mets. On Sunday, the slugger hit his 72nd home run at Citi Field, breaking a tie with Lucas Duda to make him career leader for homers at the ballpark. The solo blast came in the bottom of the sixth inning - a drive that just cleared over the wall in left field. The longball was also Alonso's 21st of the season - leading all Major League hitters.
