The Milwaukee Brewers are red hot, and after their third consecutive shutout win over the Cincinnati Reds yesterday, 3-0, the Club stands alone atop the National League Central Division standings. Remarkably, the Brewers also made Major League Baseball history with the victory, becoming the first team to notch back-to-back shutout wins in which they notched 12 or more strikeouts in each contest. Furthermore, the Club came within inches of throwing for a combined no-hitter, conceding just one hit: a fourth-inning single hit by Jake Fraley.
