Manny Machado

In Game 1 of a doubleheader between his San Diego Padres and the Philadelphia Phillies, Manny Machado connected for the 300th home run of his Major League Baseball career. The milestone longball was belted in the eighth inning off left-handed hurler Matt Strahm and was sent flying 425 feet to the upper deck in left field. Notably, Machado became just the 11th active player to reach the 300-home-run mark and the second-youngest third baseman in MLB history to do so, just behind Eddie Mathews.
