It didn’t take long for fresh-faced San Francisco Giants call-up Marco Luciano to introduce himself to Major League Baseball, as he connected for the first hit of his career in last night’s bout between his Club and the Boston Red Sox. The career-first hit was smacked in the sixth inning off right-handed Red Sox starter Kutter Crawford and was good for one base. Eventually, Luciano would cross home plate to score the very first run of his big-league career, and the first for his Club on the night.
