On Saturday, a Minnesota Twins legend earned his place among the team greats. Joe Mauer was inducted as the 38th member of the team’s Hall of Fame. After being selected number one overall in 2001, he lived up to his billing, becoming the only catcher in American League history to win a batting title, let alone three. Through 15 seasons, he was a six-time MLB All-Star, five-time Silver Slugger, and the 2009 AL MVP.
