Known for his power and cannon of an arm, Fernando Tatis Jr. flashed his elite speed Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles. Standing at third base and with Juan Soto at the plate, the 24-year-old dashed for home, perfectly timing Cionel Pérez’s delivery to swipe home plate. It was the outfielder’s first career steal at home and the first for the Padres since Tommy Pham did it in 2021.
