It’s not only Mookie Betts that’s causing headaches at the plate for opposing pitchers this season. Having already doubled in the opening frame, Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman picked up another two-base hit in the fifth inning on a liner to the Green Monster at Fenway Park. Freeman’s second double was his 50th of 2023, which is the most for any Dodgers player in a season since the Club moved to Los Angeles (1958).
