Blake Snell’s dominant 2023 Major League Baseball campaign marches along, and after striking out an impressive eight batters in his start against the San Francisco Giants last night, he now holds the San Diego Padres record for most single-season strikeouts by a left-handed hurler with 201. The 2018 Cy Young Award winner is making a serious claim to double up, and through his incredible start yesterday, Snell’s 2.50 ERA is the lowest across MLB. What’s more, Snell walked away with his 12th win of the season, 6–1.
