Evan Carter

Having received his promotion to MLB just a couple of days prior, the Texas Rangers top prospect was ready for more in Sunday's matchup. Outfielder Evan Carter approached the plate with a chance to add to his team's lead, having Josh Smith on third base with one out in the sixth inning. The 21-year-old slapped a pitch towards center field, giving Smith enough room to make it home on a sacrifice fly. It was Carter's first career RBI and contributed to the Club's eventual 9-4 win over the Oakland Athletics.
