Hunter Goodman

12th-ranked Colorado Rockies prospect Hunter Goodman has been a welcomed presence since his August 27th MLB promotion. Slotted as the Club's designated hitter on Sunday, Goodman sparked an early 2-0 lead with a two-run triple against San Francisco Giants pitcher Keaton Winn in the second inning. The 23-year-old joins Roberto Mejia (1993) as the second player in franchise history to collect three triples through his first 12 matchups. He's currently slashing .286 batting average and slugging .500 to begin his big-league career.
