Boston Red Sox fans got to see the team’s third-ranked prospect flex his muscles against the New York Yankees Tuesday. Outfielder Ceddanne Rafaela opened up the score with a first-inning leadoff solo blast over the Green Monster to give his Club a quick 1-0 lead. It was the outfielder’s first career MLB home run, and it’s the first time since the 2006 season that a Red Sox player hit his first as a leadoff dinger in the opening frame.
