Evan Carter became the youngest player in Rangers history to hit a home run in a postseason game, doing so in Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series against the Rays. The 20-year-old outfielder took Tampa Bay right-hander Tyler Glasnow deep in the 3rd inning, a two-run shot that gave Texas an early lead. Carter, the No. 2 prospect in baseball according to MLB Pipeline, continued his torrid postseason with a .333 average and two homers in the series.
