Third baseman Manny Machado will be a fixture in San Diego for the foreseeable future, after signing an 11-year, $350 million contract extension. The deal is the fourth-largest guarantee in MLB history and comes four years into a 10-year, $300 million deal Machado made with the Club in 2019. The ‘22 NL MVP runner-up, Machado is fresh off another monster season that saw him hit 32 homers and 102 RBI, with 6.8 bWAR.
