The southpaw starter was outstanding as he struck out seven over six and 1/3 innings of work, improving to 5-0 in 2024. Skubal is the first Tigers pitcher to start a campaign 5-0 since Jordan Zimmermann in 2016 and is now unbeaten in his last 13 starts, dating back to August 29, 2023.
