Kevin Durant

Team USA’s gold medal defense got off to a strong start on Sunday thanks to an offensive explosion from superstar Kevin Durant. The 35-year-old was masterful, scoring 23 points in just 17 minutes to lead his squad to a 110-84 victory over Serbia in a crucial pool play game. Durant, who is chasing a record-breaking fourth Olympic men’s basketball gold medal in Paris, was also a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc and made his first eight shots.
