The Pittsburgh Pirates pulled off a stunning late-inning comeback over the San Francisco Giants, capped off by rookie Nick Gonzales’ first career walk-off hit. Trailing by four runs with nobody on and one out in the ninth, the Pirates rallied to tie the game and send it to extras. Gonzales would later bring in the game-winning run on a walk-off single in the 10th. “Obviously any win is really important,” Gonzales said, “but when we’re down four in the ninth with one out and pull it off, it’s special.”
