Juan Soto, who played for the Padres last season before he was traded to NewYork this past December, seemed to feel right at home with a two-run blast in the top of the third inning. This prompted teammate Aaron Judge to homer two pitches later for his 16th homer of the season. Giancarlo Stanton also connected for a homer two batters later in the frame, ultimately leading to a 8-0 Yankees triumph.
