San Diego Padres hurler Dylan Cease has been dominant over his last two starts. So dominant, that he’s accomplished something no Padres pitcher ever has before. After striking out 10 Cleveland Guardians batters over seven one-hit innings in Saturday’s 7-0 win, the righty became the first Padres starter ever to punch out 10 while allowing no runs and one hit or fewer in consecutive starts. “I’m not hanging my hat on these,” Cease said after his historic performance. “I want more.”
