Dylan Cease

The crowd at Rogers Centre was amped up, thanks to Dylan Cease’s record-setting pitching effort in his Toronto debut. Signing a huge offseason deal, the right-hander lived up to the hype with a dozen strikeouts in five and 1/3 innings. Fueling the Blue Jays eventual 8-7 extra-inning win, Cease established a new record for the most strikeouts in a team debut.
