Kansas City Royals outfielder MJ Melendez began Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers on the bench, but he finished it as his team's hero. Trailing 2-0 and down to their final out, the Royals called on the 25-year-old to pinch hit with two runners on base. Melendez delivered with a game-winning three-run blast, his first career pinch-hit homer. "We're a winning team...and the game is not over until the last out is made," Melendez said.
