Pitcher Sean Manaea was brilliant yet again for the New York Mets on Monday afternoon. The southpaw struck out 10 St. Louis Cardinals batters over seven shutout innings in a 6-0 road win, giving him back-to-back starts with at least that many shutout frames and at least that many punchouts. He joins Mets legends Tom Seaver and Dwight Gooden as the only hurlers in team history to reach such a feat. Manaea has 21 strikeouts over his last two outings and has walked just one batter in 14 innings.
