The deadly combination of Juan Soto and Aaron Judge struck again in the New York Yankees matchup against the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday. Both cracked back-to-back solo shots in the opening frame, Soto’s being his 35th of the year. With the effort, Soto and Judge became the first pair of teammates with 35-plus dingers and 100-plus walks each within their team’s first 126 games in a single season. They’re also the fifth pair of teammates all-time to accomplish the feat and first since 2006.
