Kansas City Royals hurler Cole Ragans continued his outstanding 2024 campaign on Friday night by setting a new franchise record. The tall southpaw was dominant against the Minnesota Twins, striking out seven batters over six shutout innings en route to a 5-0 win. Now with 204 punchouts on the year, Ragans is the first lefty in Royals history to notch 200 in a season and the fifth pitcher overall. "I play to win, but it’s always cool to reach a milestone like that," Ragans said.
