Veteran Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez continued his hot stretch on Saturday, belting his way into the AL and NL record books. The 33-year-old backstop crushed the 250th homer of his career, the fourth of the season, in the win over the New York Mets, 11-7. Perez becomes the 12th primary catcher to reach that many dingers. Over the past 11 games, he's hitting .364 with two home runs and nine RBI, and the Club has won nine contests.
