In a pivotal NLDS Game 3 against the Philadelphia Phillies, pitcher Sean Manaea was simply masterful for the New York Mets. The southpaw was dominant in front of a capacity Citi Field crowd, allowing just one run on three hits over seven innings with six strikeouts. Manaea became the eighth Mets pitcher ever to allow three or fewer hits over seven-plus innings with one or zero runs in a Postseason game. The 7-2 win gave the Mets a 2-1 series lead and pushed them to the cusp of the NLCS.
