The first baseman slugged two homers in a 13-5 rout of the Colorado Rockies, giving him 243 career dingers and moving him past Mets icon David Wright for second on the team's all-time career home runs list. Alonso now trails only Darryl Strawberry's career mark of 252 longballs.
