New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso has a flair for dramatic home runs, and proved that once again in the Club’s home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. “Polar Bear” got the Mets offense going early thanks to his two-run blast in the bottom of the first inning - then saluted the Mets fans cheering for a curtain call on the special day.
