Slugger Pete Alonso continued to write his name in the New York Mets record books with his five-RBI showing in a 12-6 win. The “Polar Bear” crushed two homers against the cross-town rival New York Yankees, driving in five runners on the day. Alonso’s performance passed team legend Mike Piazza for third place on the Club’s all-time RBI list.
