Yordan Alvarez

Slugging veteran Yordan Alvarez continued to mash in the Houston Astros 2-1 win, launching a 407-foot shot to right field. The Cuban native made his lone hit of the victory count, opening the score right away in the opening frame against Cleveland. Alvarez became the first Astros batter with 25 homers within his team’s first 79 games since 2002 (Lance Berkman).
